Lloyd House offers neurorehabilitation in a local community setting. It offers en-suite bedrooms which are modified for people who use larger tilt and space wheelchairs, or need hoists for transfers. In addition to en-suite bedrooms, there are also flats, bedsits and a four-bed transitional living unit, so residents are able to move through the centres as they become more independent. The centre is supported by an interdisciplinary team of neuropsychologists, physiotherapists, a rehabilitation medicine consultant, speech and language therapists and occupational therapists. Located in Abington, the unit is close to local shops, the park and amenities, so residents benefit from social, occupational and educational opportunities in an ideal setting for specialist community-based transitional rehabilitation.

Loyd House is a service for those aged 18 and over, we have 17 bedrooms, four of which form our transitional living unit, which is for those who are ready for more independent living. The service is close to local shops and the park, so residents can benefit from social, occupational and educational opportunities in an ideal setting for neurorehabilitation.
The team at Loyd House work together to develop person-centred, evidence based rehabilitation care plans that aim to maximise the individual’s independence and recovery.
