Brenda and Julian

Brenda Floyd

Through a mother's eyes

Just days after the death of her mother, Brenda Floyd was told by doctors that she might also lose her son.

In 2004, Julian was the victim of a violent, unprovoked, assault which left him with a bleed on the brain.

His injuries were so bad he was given just a three per cent chance of survival.

Eventually Julian pulled through.

But for more than a decade, Brenda and Julian struggled to come to terms with the lasting effects of his brain injury.

Brenda has written Through A Mother's Eyes, her personal tale of life after Julian's brain injury.
